Topping out – a vanishing tradition

In an age when construction is increasingly associated with specialized machinery, schedule management, and even drones flying over construction sites, it's sometimes nice to be reminded of old customs. At one of our recent construction sites in the Lubusz Voivodeship, a topping out ceremony was held – a symbolic sign of the completion of construction work. This old custom, which was practically mandatory not long ago, is now a rare occurrence… in YPERO's history, it has only occurred four times out of nearly 80 completed projects!
This is not only a beautiful tradition, but also an opportunity to thank the team for their hard work and commitment. A brief moment of reflection before we move on to the next stage of the project. We're glad that there are still investors and contractors who want to cultivate this tradition. Because even though the schedule is tight and the project is "on schedule," it's worth pausing for a moment.
